At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.

Those in financial due diligence at PwC will focus on providing strategic advice and business diligence services to clients in their mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. You will be responsible for analysing financial information focusing on quality of earnings and assets, cash flows and other key client deal issues.

Minimum years of experience: 5 years.

Educational requirements: Certified Public Accountant, MBA or equivalent qualifications.

Preferred skills or knowledge:

Paying attention to details to maintain adherence to risk and quality protocols.Managing time effectively and tracking progress against agreed goals with focus on timely delivery.Interest in mergers and acquisitions as well as industries trends is desired.Demonstrates level of abilities and/or proven record of success in deals across industries and more detailed working knowledge of the CCM team.Create monitor and close all CCM team projects sub codes.Responsible for transferring time from holding FDD and PD codes to a CCM code.Develop a strategy and dashboard to monitor and prompt FDD teams for allocation for each CCM project.Assist in the project management. data analysis and delivering of large closing accounts review projects.Be actively involved in the financial management of the CCM team through creating a monthly dashboard with the teams financial metrics.Assist in developing formal onboarding training plan, schedule CCM team instructors for each session.Possesses basic – intermediate managerial skills including interviewing executive management at target companies, coaching less experienced staff by providing timely feedback, answering questions and guiding activities.  Possesses intermediate – advanced skills in MS-Office tools (i.e., Excel, Word, Power Point, Power Query & Power Pivot, ​Power BI) and a basic understanding of other software applications (i.e., Alteryx).   

Language required: Fluent in the English language along with advanced reading and writing comprehension skills.
