You will contribute to Sapient engagements by creating units of defect-free code modules that meet the business and technical requirements during the Enterprise Architecture Release (Ear), Implementation, and Manage phases. Working alongside other talented minds with strong technical skills, you’ll solve complex business problems to deliver software applications and services that positively impact our clients and their customers. **Overview** **Key Responsibilities** : **Business:** + Understand client business and domain. Identify opportunities for digital transformation. + Identify technology enablers to extend the client business ecosystem + Work with Arch for technology evaluation and solution. + Provide quick POC for benchmarking solutions that are competitive, easy to develop and scale, and cost-effective + You should be able to work with your architect to cater to all the aspects of the solution like architecture, provisioning, networking, estimation, and planning. + Map client requirement to API contract, documentation along with the mocked response. **Engineering:** + Follow your passion to explore and apply innovative solutions to enhance an existing solution + Build boilerplate code, templates, and accelerators to enable faster delivery and predictable quality solutions. + Roll out white papers, POVs, reference implementations, and conduct seminars to share this knowledge. **Enable Potential:** + Own people growth for Jr. Developers + Manage the learning curve for self and others + Open to feedback + Create a fair ground for everyone to contribute and challenge. **Qualification:** + Full-Time Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (Science or Engineering preferred) + Strong Java Technical and Analytical skills. + Having key behavioral attributes around leadership, innovation, learning aptitude, flexibility, and a great team player. **Responsibilities** **Experience level:** A minimum of 7 to 10 years **Job Level:** Senior Associate Technology Level 2 **Preferred Locations:** Dallas and All East Coast States (Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida) + **ONLY considering U.S. Citizens, Green Cards for this role—** **_**_** **NOT accepting H1-B's, OPTs, H4-EAD's, and other work visa types**** + Preference for candidates based near major Sapient offices on the East Coast and Dallas + Flexibility to travel and work onsite as needed **Qualifications** **Must-Haves:** **Engineering Skills:** + A polyglot full life cycle engineer, who can manage the entire product lifecycle on their own + Understand the requirement to map to the service contract + Exp in high-level design and low-level design + End-to-end implementation, reviews, and code quality plugins + Hands-on DevOps + Unit testing and subsequent testing phases and propagation + Exp in production release & troubleshooting. **Development Skills:** + REST-based services design and implementations **(Node JS / Java Spring react /Golang)** + Exp in any of the messaging systems **(Kafka/ Rabbit MQ/IBM MQ/Active MQ)** + Any exp with event drive architecture **DevOps and Monitoring Skills:** + Exp with Maven/Gradle/Jenkins/Gitlab/Terraform & docker + Exp in any monitoring tool ELK/ Splunk/ Kiali/ Prometheus/ Grafana/ Dynatrace/ Datadog/others **Cloud Skills:** + Exp with any cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure/others) for application deployment and using cloud services in the development cycle. **Database Skills:** + NoSQL & or SQL (Postgres/ MongoDB/ MYSQL/ NEO4J/ others) **Nice to Have:** **Advanced API Skills:** + Exp with any one of the API gateway products (APIGEE /API Connect/Kong/Mule/AWS API Manager/ Azure APIM/others) + Exp with Graphql + GRPC standards **Additional information** **Additional information:** **Annual Pay Range (in USD): $120,000 - $150,000 (for New York cities)** The above ranges represent a grouping of relevant salary ranges currently used at Publicis Sapient.
