Senior Associate - Latam & Caribbean, Facultative GB

Senior Associate position within the Latin American and Caribbean team part of the Facultative GB business unit. Responsibility for servicing of existing and new clients, as well as supporting the team with business growth via market and network relationships.

The Role

Understand the clients’ business and risk transfer needs to offer appropriate solutions and services that add value to clients.  Support identifying and implementing solutions to clients in line with the clients’ needs maintaining a profitable business for WTW. Provide and ensure excellent service to clients during the sale, placement and post placement. Provide technical and subject matter expertise where required.    Understand, apply and where necessary explain the BU policies and procedures. Support and share expertise within the team and across the company. Liaise and build strong relationships with clients and regional offices.  Contribute to the growth of existing portfolio by supporting to identify new, and/or existing opportunities.

Business Development

Develop, maintain and improve the product offering and quality of service offered to clients. Support the business growth strategy of the portfolio and retention of profitable clients.  Respond quickly and accurately to business opportunities by adding value and service to existing and potential new clients. Assist the identification, sale and service maintenance of prospect clients including research, initiation of contact, meetings, responding to RFPs, new business presentations, accurately maintaining CRM database. Network internally with other BUs, within the sector, and with external specialists as appropriate. 

Placement Management

Support the definition and implementation of placement and service strategies that will meet client expectations and add value to both client and WTW. Maintain and consolidate excellent relationships with Insurer and reinsurers in London and regional market. Ensure compliance with business process requirement as per internal requirement, FCA and contract certainty guidelines. Maintain data loading in the relevant WTW systems. Prepare and assist in market presentations, client documentation and contracts as appropriate. Support the team providing knowledge and guidance to assist clients, insurers and reinsurers during the placement process. Lead and deliver the permanent client service, maintaining service standards, procedures and internal metrics. Assist the team on market contact with clients, Insurers and reinsurers to ensure the implementation of a comprehensive placement strategy.

Operational and Service Delivery

Ensure that Operation and Service Standards to clients are met at all times. Develop appropriate solutions and strategies to ensure optimum client satisfaction and retention rates. To execute service plans that ensure compliance with client and internal KPIs and service standards. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and markets to deliver on client service strategies. Ensure adherence to Group policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements. Provide feedback and support corrective actions required to improve service, process performance, and retain clients.
 

The Requirements:

Extensive experience in servicing of Property International Broking/Underwriting.Knowledge of the Insurance and (Re)insurance Industry and Products.Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service.Skilled at building effective relationships, with clients, colleagues, insurers, reinsurers and external specialists.Ability to represent WTW with integrity and credibility.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Strong adhering to processes and systems to support business strategy.Preferably ACII qualified or working towards the ACII qualification.European language skills are a plus, but not a requirement.
