Senior Associate / Manager- O2C Supply Chain Planner

Role Title: O2C Supply Chain Planner

Organization Overview:
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) Centre at Cork was established in July 2010 to provide financial shared services such as Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and General Accounting and Global Travel and Meeting services. Since then, the scope of GBS Cork has expanded outside of Finance and into other Business Service functions, Customer Meeting Services, Global HR Data Management and Medical Information. The current headcount is circa 800 multi-lingual employees and the culture is vibrant and diverse. The GBS was awarded CIMA International Shared Service Centre of the Year in 2013 and 2014, with particular credit to Employee Engagement.  

The GBS Lilly Management Team is currently looking for a people-oriented, customer centric and forward-thinking O2C Supply Chain Planner, to join its team in Cork. This individual will be an exceptional professional, who consistently exceeds expectations, thrives in a challenging and dynamic work environment, and will be an active contributor to our team. 

The supply chain planner is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain activities in the GBS, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The supply chain planner works closely with the Manufacturing sites, Logistic Service Providers (LSP), and our affiliates to ensure optimal service levels, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities:

Analyse demand patterns and review future demand using statistical tools and market intelligence.Plan and execute inventory replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize obsolescence.Coordinate and monitor the inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and delivery.Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to supply chain performance, such as service level, fill rate, inventory turnover, cost per unit, and customer satisfaction.Building the relationship with the affiliate commercial/sales/brand teams via regular face to face connections and having future focus sessions regularly.Using data in Tableau / Power BI to proactively assess trending to assist with future decision making.Being a PM for ad hoc initiatives that arise across the processes.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and best practices to optimize the supply chain processes and systems.Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as business units, LSPs ,MFG sites, and regulators.Ensure compliance with the GBS policies, procedures, and standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations.


Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.At least 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning in a pharmaceutical role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and tools to support decision making.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external parties.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and ERP systems, such as SAP S4HanaFluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a high level of initiative and accountability.Willing to travel occasionally as required by the role. (10-20% travel)
