Senior Associate of Business Affairs
Job Location: Hershey, PA Hershey, PA preferred. Open to remote. Pay Level: 1A This position will be posted internally until the close of business on January 23, 2025. * ROLE OVERVIEW:* The Hershey Company utilizes a creative asset management system (CAM) to house all brand linear, digital, and social assets and AdBridge to manage corresponding talent and rights information. The Specialist, Talent and Rights Management will own usage and renewals for talent and rights and maintain accurate reports in AdBridge with proper documentation that consistently reflects up-to-date information. This position is on-site preferred but remote eligible. * ACCOUNTABILITIES:* • Manage completion reports: Ensure all final assets are attached to a completion report. Work with creative agencies and producers (internal and external) to secure the information required to submit a report. This information includes, but is not limited to talent contracts, music contracts, and font licenses. • Partner management: Manage external rights agency on tracking usage for talent. • Asset renewals: Work with brand teams and agency partners on asset renewals (including talent and rights such as music). • T&R point of contact: Serve as the point of contact for talent and rights usage questions. Speak to existing usage including the platforms an asset can run on and during what timeframe. • Manage international rights and usage requests: Intake requests from international teams interested in airing U.S. assets in their markets. Work with Xtreme Reach to confirm existing usage and estimate cost for additional usage. • Budget management: Work with team to track and maintain a substantial budget for talent & rights, creative agencies, and related support agencies • Team support: Additional tasks related to Asset and Creative Management as the team evolves and grows * EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION* * Required* - Bachelor’s degree - 3+ years of Business Affairs, Talent & Rights Tracking, or other similar role at a creative or media agency. - Ability to quickly learn and apply rules and guidelines, and make judgment calls as appropriate - Able to work on a team but also remain self-motivated on a day-to-day basis. * Preferred* - Experience with SAG commercial guidelines and celebrity/influencer multi service agreements is strongly preferred. - Knowledge of music licensing, stock footage licensing, and intellectual property licensing. #LI-AM1 #LI-Remote The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
