About the Role

At AIA Shared Services, we are looking for a Senior Associate-Underwriting And Issuance to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our ambitious movement to build a healthier, more sustainable future for everyone.

Perform data input, documentation checking and quality control check of insurance applications.

Ensure completion of processing tasks in accordance with the established SOP, agreed productivity and quality target.

Demonstration of team-work through processing requirement and ensure the completion of all the assigned administrative tasks and ad-hoc tasks within stipulated timeline.

Ensure the daily efficiency record is updated accurately by using the company’s approved efficiency tracking tool (AOM).

Proactively review and demonstrate process improvement idea to improve customer satisfaction, increase efficiency as well as work quality.

Ensure completion of the mandatory training courses as well as self-development courses within stipulated timeline.

Learn and accurately underwrite A&H, GIO/SIO products and/or non-med standard (jet underwriting) by assessing the risks according to the company guidelines and regulations.

Ensure operational issues are proactively identified, escalate through agreed escalation matrix, fully resolved and suggest the preventive action to avoid reoccurrence.

Assist to build robust team environment where skills, best practices and knowledge are shared to achieve the department goals.

Job Requirements:

A recognized tertiary Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate, Professional Degree

The role is required to follow Hong Kong working calendar.

Proven knowledge in Microsoft Excel
