Senior Associate - User Acceptance Testing Lead

As a Senior Associate - Test Lead in our User Acceptance Testing team, you will play a pivotal role in executing our roadmap and assisting with User Acceptance Testing. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including design, technology, and service delivery teams, with a primary focus on the mobile space. This role provides an opportunity to partner with testing leads and teams to assist in testing large, highly visible cross-functional initiatives. You will also manage defects, monitor and report on defect resolution, and design, develop, and assist in the creation of manual test scripts.

Job Responsibilities

Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Co-ordinates with all stakeholders located globally and in different time zones to achieve overall quality goals Understand requirements/customers/end users and accordingly outline various testing artifacts such as test plan, test cases, test data, reports, and traceability Execute functional, integration, regression tests to ensure application quality Build, maintain and enhance automation artifacts leveraging Selenium, Java, Maven, TestNG, Rest Assured, GIT, and Jenkins Cross-train automation for team members

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.

3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance or User Acceptance Testing role within the financial services industry Familiarity & experience in Credit Card Payments, Third Party Wallets or Tokenization.   Exposure or experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD)/ User Defined Function behavior driven development and test-driven development. Hands-on experience of Software Development Life Cycle principles and Quality Assurance methodologies/best practices, experience in the design of detailed functional and regression test plans, and the creation and execution of test scripts within the financial services industry. Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile project methodologies. Proficiency maintaining Excel macros using Visual Basic Analysis & hands-on experience conducting Mobile testing using devices and simulators like See Test, Nautilus.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field of study, or equivalent relevant experience. Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Figma. Exposure to Automation Testing Framework. (UDF & Cucumber). Passion for online & mobile technology and knowledge of industry structure, trends, and influential companies. Passion for continuous improvement
