Maxar Space is currently seeking a Sr. ATE Engineer to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated test equipment (ATE) used by our company to test our products in production.

Responsibilities

Design of custom electronics for simulation and measurementCreating and maintaining automated tests using test scriptsWork with design engineers to establish test requirementsCreation and release of test equipment and software documentation.Perform troubleshooting of test equipment in productionPerform troubleshooting of flight hardware (along with design team)

Minimum Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.BS degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline8 Years of experienceTest and automationDesign for High PowerCustom PCB/PCA designExperience with a wide range of electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads, power supplies, signal generators, switching etc.Experience Automating testing through scripting

Preferred Qualifications

Python and C ExperienceExperience leveraging Object Oriented ProgrammingExperience with Testing for Space applicationsExperience design for testing at Vacuum3D modeling/3D printing experience a plus

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. To accommodate all locations, we have listed the bottom to the top of the possible range, and will share the target range for a specific location during the recruiting discussion. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$94,000.00 - $200,000.00 annually.

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
