Senior Atlassian Administrator
Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration and Configuration: Manage and administer Atlassian tools, ensuring they are configured to meet the needs of the organization. This includes user management, workflows, custom fields, permissions, screen schemes, and other configurations.System Maintenance: Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure the stability and security of the Atlassian environment.Monitor Performance: Continuously monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system configurations to ensure optimal performance.Integration: Integrate Atlassian tools with other systems and tools used within the organization to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.User Support and Training: Provide support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and providing training and documentation as needed.Best Practices and Standards: Establish and enforce best practices and standards for using Atlassian tools within the organization. This includes creating and maintaining documentation, guidelines, and procedures.Project Management: Work closely with project managers and teams to understand requirements and implement solutions using Atlassian tools. This includes customizing workflows, dashboards, and reports to support project management needs.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Atlassian tools and bring innovative ideas and solutions to the organization.Security Compliance: Ensure that the Atlassian environment complies with security policies and procedures, including data privacy and protection standards.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience administering and configuring Atlassian tools, including Jira, ConfluenceTechnical Skills: Strong technical skills and experience with scripting and automation using tools such as Groovy, Python, or Bash.Certification: Atlassian certification(s) is highly desirable.Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Scrum.Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and foster a positive and productive working environment.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology, or a related field.
