**39091BR** **Extended Job Title:** Senior Attendant - Parking Enforcement; Evening Shift **Position Description:** Provides manual and/or clerical services in related work area. Work may involve strenuous physical activity and/or exposure to the outdoors. Work is performed under general supervision and is evaluated through observation and results obtained. **Requisition ID:** 39091BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Enforce parking rules and regulations on campus by issuing citations, immobilizing vehicles, overseeing vehicle impounds, and assisting with campus control at entry stations. + Must be knowledgeable of the Texas Tech campus and parking rules and regulations. Must learn buildings, streets, parking lots, rules and regulations, and permission types of Texas Tech. Should be able to disseminate accurate effective directions and educate individuals on campus parking procedures. + Perform battery boosts, tire air-ups, fuel vehicles, oversee vehicle unlocks, and provide customer transportation as part of the Motorist Assistance Program. + Unlock and lock academic buildings on campus. + Collect funds from pay lot multi-pace pay machines. **Grant Funded?:** No **Minimum Hire Rate:** 14.06 **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Schedule Details:** 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Works every other weekend; on weekends worked, will have off the preceding Friday and the following Monday **Work Location:** Lubbock **Preferred Qualifications:** + Prior experience in parking industry. + 2 years customer service experience. **Department:** Transportation and Parking Svc **Required Attachments:** Cover Letter, Resume / CV **Job Type:** Full Time **Job Group:** Service Workers **Occasional Duties:** + Work special events. Control parking lot entrances. Set up cones, barricades, and other parking control devices to events. Collect and properly store such equipment post-event. + Perform lot utilization and space inventory counts as required. + Periodic maintenance of parking facilities including cleaning, painting, etc. **Shift:** Evening **Required Qualifications:** Completion of High School or the equivalent and two years experience.
