Senior Attorney
Job Description

Intel has an immediate opening for a Senior Attorney supporting Intel's products, business, sales and marketing needs in APJ. This is an excellent opportunity to join a smart, creative network of lawyers counseling on complex local and global matters in a key and dynamic Intel office.


In this position, you will:

Partner with business clients to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for Intel products and solutionsDraft and advise on technology development engagements with customers, eco-system partners, government and academic institutionsManage Intel intellectual property licensing needs for joint development projects and initiativesCounsel on sales, commercial, pricing, antitrust and marketing law mattersDraft and negotiate various sales, licensing, pricing, marketing, engineering and commercial terms agreementsAssist in the creation of policies and procedures supporting antitrust and sales best practicesProvide guidance on local Japan law matters and regulations to senior managementManage external counsel to resolve critical legal issues to support Intel's business growthAssist Intel's Litigation and Legal Compliance teams from time to time on various mattersDevelop and deliver training to employees and support compliance efforts.
Qualifications
Must be legally qualified and admitted to practice law in Japan or a Commonwealth jurisdictionGraduate qualification from Japan or abroadProficient in Japanese and English5+ years of relevant legal experience.

Previous in-house counsel experiences supporting clients, selling systems or devicesAbility to tightly integrate with clients, understand their objectives, and communicate clear, concise and practical legal adviceFamiliarity with intellectual property, antitrust, commercial and marketing lawStrong communication, collaboration, influencing, drafting and negotiation skillsExcellent judgment and the ability to make decisions on complex legal issues and drive creative, risk-optimized business solutionsDemonstrated teaming and project management skills and ability to successfully work with attorneys and business clients across different geographiesDecisiveness and proven ability to function independently with minimal supervisionTalent for proactively anticipating issues and successfully managing a diverse and complex workload with competing priorities
