CVP is seeking a Senior Audit Analyst to join our team of experts tasked with securing the critical networks and systems our clients depend on. As the Senior Audit Analyst, you will support audits, primarily by OIG and GAO, supports all phases of audit activity, from inception through remediation and closure. The team researches, develops, and documents repeatable processes and templates to ensure the efficient execution of the audit processes; this includes, but is not limited to, creating guidance and templates for preparing for, responding to, and remediating audits and inspections (OIG, FISMA, GAO, DHS, etc.). Work with the contract team to draft and submit reports in a timely manner, including but not limited to the annual Congressional letter; monthly / quarterly status reports on open recommendations and management challenges; analysis and summaries of new guidance issued by federal governing bodies such as NIST, OMB, GAO, DHS, and USDA IT Security Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities Gathering and documenting artifacts required for active audits, such as provided by client (PBC) items;Performing analysis of cybersecurity-related audit findings and recommendations to determine root cause and remediation actions; andCoordinating or writing corrective action plans and audit recommendation closure packages.Ensuring quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting customer schedules.Working with the team to develop and document audit processes and procedures.Compose, edit, analyze and review process documents, procedures, and other customer deliverables and documents as required by the client.Establish and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with customers and other team members.Will work initially as a coordinator, but eventually will be required to help work with the federal staff to develop and improve processes to improve the USDA’s FISMA audit results and support the Federal Team. Qualifications Experience with government audits and/or assessments, especially FISMA audits.Experience working with third-party audit agencies such as KPMG.Experience coordinating multiple moving projects, assignments, and tasks.Proficient written and verbal communication.Solid proficiency in writing and editing skills using MS Office.Experience working under tight deadlines.Must be a self-starter, motivated and can work with minimal supervision after training.Must be patient, working in a complex government environment with many personnel involved.Must be comfortable presenting when needed using PowerPoint, both from a remote and possibly in person in certain circumstances.

Desired Skills

Experience working with the USDA.Knowledge of NIST Special Publications. Federal Information Security Management Act, Federal Information Processing Standards and, OMB Directives and Circulars.Ability to multi-task, prioritize client requests, and set expectations.Meticulous attention to detail and effective professional correspondence.Self-sufficient and resourceful, and able to work independently and take ownership of the project.Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
