The Office of the Chief Auditor department is looking for a Senior Auditor with a strategic focus on delivering high-quality, complex audits that safeguard the Airport Authority’s financial and operational integrity. This role is central to ensuring compliance, improving processes, and optimizing performance across the organization. The Senior Auditor leads audit projects and directly contributes to the effectiveness of internal controls, financial reporting, and risk management initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a true trusted advisor, particularly in their collaboration with Authority Management by bringing a partnership approach and demonstrating tangible impact through well-regarded, high-quality work. This role ensures that the audit function supports strategic decisions and drives continuous improvement, fostering trust and credibility that strengthens the Airport Authority’s purpose, strategic plan, and operations.
What You’ll Do:
Audit Planning & Execution: Develops audit plans for financial, performance, and compliance audits; executes audit plans and performs audit work which evaluates system effectiveness and efficiency, measures compliance, and recommends control improvements. Project Leadership: Supervises consultants and staff in field work; assigns tasks, provides guidance, and ensures high-quality work aligns with regulatory and Authority standards. Data Analysis & Risk Mitigation: Analyzes data to enhance revenues, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency while ensuring the safeguarding of the Authority’s assets and adherence to best practices. Stakeholder Collaboration: Represents the department in interactions with internal and external stakeholders; leads meetings, secures project scope agreements, and addresses inquiries in public forums. Policy Development & Ethics Oversight: Recommends improvements to departmental policies, ensures alignment with Authority objectives, and may oversee the Ethics Program, including policy development, training, and investigations.The Skills We Are Looking For:
