Key Responsibilities:

Our mission in Internal Audit is to protect and enable growth across the organization with objective, practical insights, by monitoring the risk environment and providing insights to enable effective risk management. Objective of this role is to analyze and assess United’s technological infrastructure to identify gaps within efficiency, risk management and compliance. If issues are identified, the Senior IT auditor is responsible for communicating findings to key partners and offering solutions to improve or change processes and systems to ensure security and compliance.

Support the IT Internal Audit Program including testing execution and reporting of results for cyber security and IT engineering reviews under direction of Senior Manager, IT AuditBuild strong working relationships and trust with technology business partners across the company by providing quality insight regarding IT risks and controlsIdentify and implement continuous improvement processes in the IA function, including identifying and integrating best practices and conducting agile audits; identify specific actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT reviewsComplete technology audit plan as well as the overall performance of audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing, and analyzing evidence, and detailing client processes and proceduresCounsels and guides staff to ensure that approved audit objectives are met, and that adequate coverage is achievedIdentify systemic root causes from one audit to the next and to assist management with end-to-end remediation and strategic adjustmentLeads professional development opportunities, including internal and external training and professional association memberships

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Information Systems, Accounting, or related fields3 - 5 years of experience in public accounting or internal auditCISA, CIA, Internal Audit and/or Big 4 consulting experienceStrong grasp of basic technology concepts (infrastructure, applications, etc.)Knowledge of IT auditing processes/proceduresExtensive knowledge and skill in applying internal auditing principles and practices, management principles and preferred business practicesKnowledge of IT frameworks, e.g., COBIT, ISO, NIST, ITILAbility to travel domestically and internationally, 25%Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Experience working in transportationAbility to assess complex IT and business processes environments to identify risksExcellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and prioritization skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively across teamsAbility to work under time pressure, prioritize a high workload, and meet strict deadlinesPositive attitude and open mindset, not afraid to roll up your sleeves
The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $108,790.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
