Position Summary:

Kemper is seeking a Senior Auto Claims Manager to work in our Henderson, NV office. You will be responsible for managing the auto liability claims team.

Position Responsibilities:

Hiring staff including Team Managers and Claims AdjustersDirect supervision of Team ManagersAssisting and mentoring Team Managers in on-going casualty training in development of staffMonitoring performance of teams compared to objectivesReviewing authority request in excess of Team Manager authority, all files with catastrophic injuries, authority for coverage investigations, completion of Department of Insurance complaint responsesAnswer customer calls requesting assistance beyond the Team Manager’s authoritySetting and maintaining best practices expectations of all staff through strong proactive leadership

Position Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of claims or functional area experience3+ years of supervisory experienceCPCU/AIC is desirable, but not required.Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust have claim related computer systems experience; Guidewire experience is a plusSponsorship is not accepted for this opportunityThe range for this position is $95,900 to $159,700. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.  This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)  This is a hybrid position out of our Henderson, NV office
