This role is responsible for supporting the IT Operation team for workflow automation, log ingestion, auto healing, self service automation within ITSM and related tools.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business users, internal technology teams and external vendors to identify fit-for-purpose, reliable, secure and highly-scalable automation solutions to complex business problemsAnalyse and translate user needs into business and technical requirements, design, develop and ensure smooth implementation through collaboration with business and IT stakeholdersParticipate in Scrum activities in various roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner and developersWork independently during programme and project execution to ensure successful, on-time delivery by anticipating dependencies and impediments, prioritizing tasks, making trade-offs between business needs and constraints and managing work time efficientlyFacilitate collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders through clear communication and documentationPlan, prioritize and deliver automation and bug fixesProvide Level 2 and 3 support, troubleshoot production systems and servicesDesign, build, test and deploy automation solution and/or prototype following best practicesWork closely with technical leads and architects to architect and develop the best technical design and approach for web/mobile applicationsCollaborate with other IT domains to drive innovationSupport and maintain the monitoring platformSupport and maintain the Chabot frameworkSupport and maintain the AI/ML platformSupport and maintain the AIOPS and ITSM platform

Academic Qualifications

Degree qualifications (or equivalent education qualifications) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines

 

Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience

Minimum 5 years’ solid working experience in the IT industry and development roleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong knowledge of ITSM and ITILSolid experience with full lifecycle of code development workSolid experience with Java script, Phytol, Ansible, Powershell, Restful API, JSON, XMLExperience with NoSQL DB and RDMSGood understand of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and ChabotWorking experience in Agile and ScrumFamiliar with cloud technology such as AWS and AzureCI/CD and monitoring tool (e.g. Jekins, Gitlab, ELK)Advanced expertise in software development methodologies –Agile and DevOps is a mustStrong understanding of current technology concepts, trends and capabilitiesWell-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativityStrong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideasWell organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitudeExperience in collaborating with multiple cross-functional and geographically dispersed teamsAbility to interact professionally with diverse groups of stakeholdersAbility to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong verbal and written presentation skillsKnowledge in security and compliance practices and technologiesPersonal & Application Information
