Job Title: Sr. Automation Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer to join a growing pharmaceutical company located in downtown Grand Rapids. This position is ideal for a sr -level candidate with extensive experience in automation and a strong back ground in PLC programming and HMI. Responsibilities + Oversee and manage automation projects from conception to completion. + Develop and implement PLC programming and HMI for various automation systems. + Ensure all automation systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions. + Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team. + Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation systems to ensure optimal performance. Essential Skills + Extensive experience in automation engineering. + Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI development. + Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus. + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
