How You Will Achieve ItParticipate in Product Centric Teams (PCTs) for support in understanding and deployment of Unit Operations, production recipes on PCS, design of automation solutions to enhance productivity, business operations and safety/quality standards.Troubleshoot automation control system issues in manufacturing operations. Participate and lead quality /safety investigations and implement optimal automation solutions resulting as CAPA from these investigationsParticipate as automation representative in capital projects involving automation systems interface for Equipment, Tank Farm, Waster Water, Production, facilities and utilities environmentPeriodically review and validate new automation systems and changes to existing site systems. Review, audit, improve and update existing system documentation and proceduresPerform automation systems preventive maintenance, identify and address issues at control logic and recipe level, 3rd party interfaces with PCS, Enterprise Historian, MESPerform complex preventive maintenance activities on Process Control System in conjunction with vendorsIdentify and address fundamental software issues across the Process Control System through knowledge sharing discussionsIdentify and address complex system level / architecture level issues and get these accepted by global sitesProvide training to end users related to PCS (process control system)Lead and resolve various Automation systems application software / architecture / infrastructure related issues, along with support from vendorsLead and participate in the data management across integration of various Automation systemsCollaborate with Pfizer Global Automation team members to investigate issues and implement the Pfizer standards across various Automation systemsTeam player with proven performance records, creative thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills.Customer-focused, positive attitude and demonstrated passion for innovation and continuous improvement.QualificationsMust-HaveBachelor's Degree8+ years of demonstrated experience in Automation EngineeringExperience with writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documentsExperience on Automation Compliance projectsFamiliar with process controls equipmentStrong knowledge of Computerized Systems, Compliance regulations and standardsTeamwork spirit, good communication skills and training abilitiesExcellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills {written and oral}Process Automation, preferably in a batch manufacturing environment; preferably in Emerson DeltaV,Network infrastructure for Controls Systems management.Nice-to-HaveMaster's degreeRelevant pharmaceutical experienceUnderstanding of programming, and proficiency in at least one languageWork Location Assignment: Flexible
