Job Description A large Material Handling Company in Grand Rapids, MI is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer. The company is looking to build up their Allen Bradley capabilities and needs a strong automation engineer to lead the charge. This is an R&D role that will be responsible for developing new Allen Bradley software and code. They will work closely with global partners in Europe to implement new process for the company to follow when it comes to the installation, commissioning and controls of Allen Bradley equipment. This person will start out as more of an independent R&D position, but the goal will be to grow a team under this person in the future. They must be able to explain their ideas and train others on their new Allen Bradley processes. This role will require only about 10% travel in which they will occasionally support the implementation of material handling systems. $140,000-$160,000 Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
