The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation testing with at least 8 years of experience, along with expertise in Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Azure DevOps pipeline integration. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality software through automated testing, including functional and non-functional, API testing, and database validation. Additionally, experience with AI-driven automation tools like Functionize, along with knowledge of programming languages (Java/Python) and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), will be highly valued. **Responsibilities** + **Test Automation Development:** Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript for both functional and non-functional testing. + **API Testing:** Design and execute API tests (RESTful, SOAP, etc.) using tools like Postman or Rest Assured to verify endpoint functionality, response times, and error handling. + **Database Testing:** Validate data integrity through database testing, including writing and executing complex SQL queries to ensure accuracy and consistency within databases like SQL Server and Snowflake. + **CI/CD Pipeline Integration:** Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes are streamlined and **efficient.** + **Functional Testing:** Conduct in-depth functional testing to ensure applications work as expected in various user scenarios. + **Performance Testing:** Perform non-functional testing, to evaluate the system's scalability, load-handling capabilities, and overall performance. + **Test Strategy:** Develop High-Level Design (HLD) for testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage across functional, performance, API, and database testing. + **AI Automation Tools:** Utilize AI-powered automation tools such as **Functionize** to enhance testing efficiency and reduce manual intervention. + **Collaboration & Mentorship** : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure a high standard of quality is maintained.
