Job summary: Title: Senior Automation QA with UFT One Location: Remote Length and terms: Long term - W2 or C2C Position created on 02/12/2025 04:25 pm Job description: Remote; long term; need 1 reference + Candidates will be helping with automation of existing functional testing scripts. Also assisting with development of testing strategies and best practices. Designing and documenting test plans, scenarios, and procedures for use during quality assurance activities as well as standards, measurements, methods, and /or procedures to determine product quality and release readiness. Provide authoritative advice and guidance on all aspects of training where appropriate. Duties + Assists with development of testing strategies. + Consults with users, providing advice and direction for automation. + Designs and documents test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures for use during testing and quality assurance activities. + Assist in developing and documenting quality assurance standards, measurements, methods, and/or procedures to determine product quality and/or release readiness. + Provides authoritative advice and guidance on any aspects of quality assurance, including + training where appropriate. + Experience/knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of software development + and the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including knowledge of industry accepted + software testing best practices. + Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems, information technology + equipment, applicable programming languages, computer hardware and software, and + computer operating systems. + Experience in analyzing test plans and test scenarios to validate that the requirements are met within the application and/or business processes. + Skill using HP/Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT), HP/Micro Focus Application + Lifecycle Management (ALM), SQL, XML, and Visual Basic (VB.net) scripting language. + Hands on software quality assurance (manual and/or automated testing) experience. + Utilizes testing knowledge and experience to assess and/or recommend solutions. + Adjusts testing approach and/or practices to best facilitate quality within defined product + solutions framework. + Uses test case management tool to enter and/or update test cases and report progress.
