Title: Senior Automation Quality Engineer

Location: Prague, Czechia

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of quality in our Convenience and Fuel Retail division and contributing to our quality processes.  You’ll be involved in full product life cycles, working directly with software engineering, product management, as well as our customer support team.

Requirements:

- BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Experience with designing, documenting, and executing test plans

- Experience with Selenium automation either using C# or Java Scripting

- Knowledge on BDD framework and Cucumber, JBehave Automation tool

- Ability to Setup Labs and maintain labs with customer versions

- Ability to write release pages and drive the demos to the POs and SMEs

- Thorough knowledge on STLC

- Experience in Database, Cloud and Mobile testing

- Must have ability to lead the team(s) and knowledge on BDD framework, test automation framework, create test suites, test strategies and test cases

- 2+ years of writing non-production software using scripting languages such as Python

- An understanding of system testing practices in an Agile Environment, including functional, usability, performance/load, scalability, boundary, hostile, regression and negative testing

- Exposure to bug tracking tools and understanding of how they are used to document, analyze, and manage defects

- Basic understanding of networking concepts

- Experience working in an Agile software development environment

- Exposure to Gherkin, Behave, Cucumber or similar test automation frameworks

- An understanding of Object-Oriented Design and philosophies of testing Object-Oriented software

- Experience coding in Python

- Experience with multi-threaded applications, in particular testing and troubleshooting them

- Experience coding to a third-party API

Good to have:

- Experience in the Point-of-Sale automation

- Knowledge of EMV (Euro Pay Mastercard Visa) based payments solutions

- Experience writing software in Delphi is added advantage

- Experience writing or consuming RESTful APIs

You can expect to:

- Create, execute, and report on results of automated and manual test cases for assigned projects

- Set up and maintain virtual execution environments (labs)

- Contribute to quality assurance culture

- Participate in conversations around automation and quality assurance related best practices, test coverage, policies, etc

- Practice and expand your software estimating skills to drive towards on time and on budget deliveries 

- Identify, communicate, and manage risks 

- Participate in an Agile development team, implementing user stories into products that work, using automated testing to verify acceptance criteria

- Provide product demos to internal stakeholders

Interact with external team members in both collocated and remote locations.

Interact with third party vendors to understand, test against, and create simulators based on product specifications
