What will you be doing?
The Solution Architect identifies, shapes, and closes new business opportunities by leveraging competitive intelligence, business requirements, cost estimates, and solution options across business and technology services and industries. They decide which technologies and capabilities are best suited to a client’s needs, based on deep conversation. The Solution Architect is responsible for building a collaborative approach across sales and delivery teams. They drive alignment to structure deals and drive the best outcome for the customer, WWT, and our partners. By leveraging their expertise, Solution Architects mitigate risks, articulate the inherent value of WWT services, and fortify client relationships. They work closely with clients, project managers, and delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Work is accomplished with moderate supervision. Follows established and detailed directions. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Up to 25% travel.
As a Services Solution Architect within the Automation Solutions Practice, you'll hold responsibility for providing leadership while solutioning opportunities for complex and strategic automation programs. You will identify, shape, and close new business opportunities by leveraging competitive intelligence, business requirements, cost estimates, and solution options across business and technology services and industries. Automation solutions will range from strategy to implementation and integrate across multi-domains such as Cloud, Security, Digital and more.
You'll lead teams in developing a competitive and compelling business case for our clients, designing and executing the competitive solution strategy while mitigating risks and articulating the value of the WWT services.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with clients to define strategies aligned with customer business goals and market demands. Conduct assessments, market research, and competitive analysis to inform strategy development. Lead the development of business cases, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate value and feasibility. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on trends, technologies, and best practices. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project success. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Develop and present comprehensive recommendations and strategies to clients. Communicate complex concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Manage projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, and project delivery. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Use data visualization skills, charts, and other data models to bring analysis to life Work independently and collaboratively with a project team or partner across the enterprise to bring the best to our clients Performs analyses to define, confirm or quantify a client business problem. Support implementation of designed solutions to achieve project-defined business impacts.
