What success looks like in this role:

• Acts as the primary point of contact for testing facilitators, executors, and validators. Direct the work product and processes by balancing the team's capacity and schedule. May direct a team of up to 10 Unisys or contract testers. • Leads all efforts relating to testing and/or coordination of release control efforts. Plans and reviews test models for product test and release control (e.g. plans, data, and scripts). • Defines test plans in one or more areas such as Manual, Automation or Performance testing . Defines testing quality standards, guidelines, and testing methodologies for the team. Assists in the release planning. • Owns specific modules and may lead a sub team on a test deliverable. • Understands the quality framework defined for the product. • Reviews and updates test plans and maintains the Quality Management System. • Proactively identifies scope for automation. Ensures test coverage, productivity and quality benchmarks are met. • Ensures the effective adoption and utilization of testing tools. Ensures the review of test artifacts and tracks to closure. • Involved in product review meetings. • Coordinates the development, updating, and maintenance of testing standards and procedures. • Reviews the test, validation, and pilot results to make sure they meet the entry and exit criteria. • Has hands on experience in one or more automation testing tools and has the ability to coach junior staff. • Familiar with Performance testing tools and methodology and supports the implementation of Testing Lifecycle Management best practices and automation.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Must have experience in Automation testing (Playwright – TypeScript or JavaScript, Selenium Etc.).

• Must have experience in API automation testing.

• Must have experience in working with Microsoft technologies, VSTS & Microsoft Test Manager.

• Must have experience with Azure Cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD.

• Must have good knowledge of the software development process, particularly in context of Agile.

• Hands-on experience with at least 1 of the following non-functional automation areas is a definitive plus (Area – Technology)

• Performance testing – Artillery / JMeter / BlazeMeter / Soap UI or other similar tools/frameworks. Performance engineering using App Dynamics / Grafana / Application Insights or similar tools / frameworks.

• Security testing • Hands-on experience building CI-CD pipelines in Azure DevOps is essential. Experience with scripting using Azure CLI / PowerShell is preferable. Academic experience with Docker / Kubernetes is a good plus.

• Good understanding and experience working with Git for version control is essential.

• Experience working with applications built using data and component driven architecture is a definitive plus.

Good to Have:

• 6-8 years of relevant industry experience. Experience working on Maritime domain is a definitive plus.

• Working experience with Microsoft technologies, TFS, VSTS, Microsoft Test Manager.

• Any certification on relevant area in testing a definite plus
