You Are:
UST is searching for a Senior AWS Architect who will provide the exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers while working with a world-class sales and business development team.
The Opportunity:
· Form deep relationships with clients and be the trusted technical advisor on all matters related to public cloud, containerization & modernization.
· Establish Cloud & DevOps and SRE CoE & C4E for our large enterprise customers to ensure a successful transformation and adoption
· Assess and contribute to improvement of the Customers' knowledge of the cloud platform and overall cloud readiness to support the customers through a structured development plan and ensure its delivery.
· Facilitate alignment of the proposed solutions and road maps to the enterprise security standards and compliance requirements
· Generating public cloud migration roadmaps and blueprints
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What You Need:
· Experience with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Powershell or other automation environments and scripting technologies.
· Experience migrating workloads from on premise to cloud
· Networking fundamentals, including VPN configuration
· Familiarity with Containerization
· Experience with network technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
· Experience using AWS CDK for IaC automation
· Good working knowledge of the technical aspects of:
· Application protocols, such as HTTP(S), SMTP, SSL, and DNS
· Common applications of cryptography, such as X.509 PKI, PGP, etc.
· Knowledge of Active Directory
· Required: 8 Years: Minimum 8+ years related work experience
· Required: 5Years
· Two or more years of experience architecting applications for execution in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud
· Four or more years of experience architecting systems using cloud based big data technologies including AWS EMR, AWS Kinesis, Sqoop, Spark, Hive, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
· Expert architect with experience creating architecture and design for high-volume, low-latency, and cloud-native 12-factor applications in AWS/Azure
· Experience with application delivery through DevSecOps and agile development processes leveraging CI/CD pipelines.
· Experience applying cloud access security brokers (CASBs), common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, SAML, etc.)
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $124,000-$186,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
