Job Responsibilities:\n

Will provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements\n
\n

Job Description: \n\nMust have experience with using and provision cloud services (AWS). \nMust provide subject matter expertise with application lifecycle management as it pertains to containerized Kubernetes clustered environments. \nResponsible for the installation, orchestration, execution, configuration, security and validation of clusters. \nMust have a thorough understanding networking and DNS, scheduling, troubleshooting and logging and monitoring of relevant areas.\nParticipates in establishing architectural standards that enable DevOps practices like infrastructure as code, policy as code and CI\/CD.\nProficiency in AWS tools such as: Kubernetes, EKS, Diode, Lambda etc. (not all inclusive) orchestrated\/deployed in a cloud environment\n\n
\n

Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)\nProven experience (6-8yrs.) as a DevOps Engineer, AWS Engineer, or similar role\nStrong proficiency with AWS services (EKS, CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, EC2, etc.)\nHands on experience with CI\/CD pipelines and version control\nStrong knowledge of scripting languages (Java, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks\nExperience with docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)\nFive (5) years applied experience on containerized platforms.\nIAT II Certification\nSecret clearance\n \n\n

A Senior AWS Cloud Platform Engineer should have AWS Kubernetes CKA certification or training and at least two of the listed AWS certifications (or training). Three (3) years proven relevant experience may be substituted as applicable to each certification. \n
\n\nAWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or training\n\n
\n\nAWS SysOps Administrator Certification or training(desired)\n\n
\n\nAWS DevOp Engineer Certification or training(desired)\n\n
