The Senior Axway Specialist will join the IT Global Application Experience team and contribute as a member of the Service Operations Excellence who is responsible for providing system operations services, incident management, and problem resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities:System Operations and governance
Application support (incident and problem management)
Application catalog (service requests)
Change management
Compliance documentation
Coordinating backup and recovery
Performing disaster recovery testing
Coordinating server and database patches
Coordinating software management
Interfacing/Coordinate with multiple areas of the business and IT (Functional Areas & Infrastructure)
Working with IT Infrastructure to remediate, replace, migrate or decommission legacy systems or infrastructure items
Decommissioning (Retiring) systems
Coordinating system archiving
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or comparable professional experience
At least 5 years working as system lead, solution owner or application/product support or similar role.
Must be customer oriented
Must be well organized and methodical
Must have excellent communication skills both written & verbal
Must be able to work successfully on a team
Must have excellent English speaking, reading & writing skills
Must have demonstrated understanding and experience with Infrastructure topics such as databases, servers, cloud systems, networking etc.
A demonstrated understanding of Operational Excellence ITIL v3.0 or higher Fundamentals Certification
Administration and support of Axway products (2/5 can be considered)
