Senior Azure Infrastructure Specialist - Public Sector

This role involves supporting our public sector customers in the Netherlands. It requires knowledge of the public sector, preferably in education (SURF), as well as expertise in cloud sales and migration. We are seeking a proactive cloud seller who can assist our customers in understanding, onboarding, and adopting cloud capabilities in the next phase of their transformation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Be the trusted advisor on cloud transformation for customers by connecting with CXOs and Directors to initiate change.
+ Bring impactful industry insights into customer engagements and close deals.
+ Understand Azure technology and cloud adoption to provide the best advice for success.
+ Scale initiatives from one to many and achieve sales targets to accelerate growth.
+ Collaborate closely with partners to expand the Azure footprint and support customer digital transformation with the extended Microsoft team.
+ Build and transform new markets by leveraging technical and industry expertise, partners, and resources.
+ Lead a team to explore business opportunities, optimize the portfolio, and facilitate customer innovation.
+ Review feedback reports, set long-term strategies to maintain client satisfaction, and coach others on recovery action plans.
+ Manage sales and delivery success through the account and pursuit teams.
+ Engage with internal and external stakeholders on business planning and Rhythm of Business (ROB) meetings for strategic accounts.
+ Collaborate with the sales team, partners, and marketing to lead business analysis, pursue high-potential customers, and develop a target list.
+ Act as a thought leader with clear opinions and perspectives from business analysis.
+ Coach and mentor others in their journeys at Microsoft
**Qualifications**
+ Dutch native language is mandatory for this role.
+ Proven track record in public sector (preferably Dutch Education).
+ 7+ years of experience in sales, preferably in cloud or infrastructure.
+ Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including a willingness to learn and coach, are essential.
+ Technical knowledge of cloud migrations and cloud adoption is also required.
