Senior B2B Events Manager, Amazon Key
Description Are you ready to help Amazon shape the future of the multifamily industry? Amazon is looking for a driven, creative, and collaborative Senior B2B Events Manager to support a new Amazon Key product as we scale our US marketing. The ideal candidate will be a high-performing, autonomous, hands-on problem solver with a proven track record of successfully planning and executing world-class B2B events. In this role, you will be responsible for Amazon Key’s B2B event strategy and execution from intimate, executive dinners to sponsored presences with multiple activations at industry trade shows and conferences. As the Senior B2B Events Manager, you will be pivotal in expanding Amazon Key’s reach, driving engagement, and setting new standards for event excellence. Key Job Responsibilities * Lead the planning and execution of Tier 1 conferences as well as regional and local events such as executive dinners that are aligned with Amazon Key’s GTM goals. * Define and innovate event strategies, maintaining a high bar for program development and ensuring events align with Amazon Key’s target customer segments and GTM priorities. * Serve as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams, working with product marketing, sales, GTM, and analytics to ensure that each conference aligns with broader business goals. * Influence cross-organization stakeholders to align resources and priorities, foster strong partnerships and advocate for event needs across departments. * Develop and manage event budgets, using data-driven insights to optimize spending and ensure each event achieves its business objectives. * Define metrics for success, track event performance, and collaborate with Finance, RevOps, Sales, and Marketing to refine strategies based on measurable impact. * Build and maintain high-value relationships with external vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and coordinating logistics to maximize the quality and impact of each event. * Serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders, ensuring they are informed, engaged, and aligned on event objectives and outcomes. * Conduct in-depth post-event analysis, synthesizing feedback, performance metrics, and insights to improve future events. * Implement a learning agenda to test new approaches, analyze results, and continually raise the standard of execution across the conference portfolio. Basic Qualifications * 5+ years in event management or marketing, with a strong focus on conferences, sponsorships, or high-impact events. * Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional programs with minimal guidance. * Strong budget management skills, able to maximize impact while minimizing costs. * Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience in influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. * Analytical mindset, able to interpret data and apply insights to improve event performance and refine strategy. * Experience with project management software (Asana preferred) Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred. * Experience in tech or SaaS environments is highly desirable. * Experience with marketing automation software (Pardot preferred) * Experience interacting with executive-level customers including C-suite Key job responsibilities You will be responsible for Amazon Key's B2B events strategy and plan -- from strategy formation to cross-functional alignment and execution. You'll have deep knowledge of our target decision makers and influencers, including where they go for tech trends and product recommendations and how to connect with them in those places through compelling product activations. The ideal candidate will be able to nimbly balance strategy and execution -- your events portfolio will include designing and executing an owned industry event, curating a local dinner for 10 executive prospects, and leading a cross-Amazon presence at a highly-trafficked trade show. Basic Qualifications - 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote - Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions - Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery - Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers) - Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives - Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
