As a Backend Engineer, you will be working on one or more of our new product initiatives. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable services that power our products and increase data quality measures. We are heavy on data. A lot of stuff will involve data manipulation and transmission on a big scale.

Employee must be able to come to the office once or twice a week.

Essential Job Functions “What You’ll Do”:

Work with VP Data Intelligence to enhance the Data Quality. Lead design architecture of scalable products. Create product user stories, prioritizes development tasks, and build great products. Document best practices and harness cross-organizational team collaborations.

Essential Qualifications “What You’ll Need”: 

4+ years of experience in building and designing enterprise, scalable, service-oriented cloud applications. Good working experience with AWS (must) or any other cloud platform ecosystem   Experience developing in Golang (must) and Python and obsessed by writing quality code to deliver stable products. Familiarity with statistics and machine learning algorithms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative attitude, team-player, friendly, w/ passion and flexibility to learn new tools and skillsets. Proven experience building extensible and scalable cloud-based applications. Familiarity with Demand Science tech stack (Golang, Python, Java, AWS, Docker, React, Vue, Typescript, Redux, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)

This is a hybrid role where you’ll work both from home and from the local office, the specific days of the week in the office will be determined by your manager.
