Position will be on-site in Chesapeake, VA

Shift will be between 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Mon-Friday, some overtime required

About the Senior Benefits Call Center Representative role: 

\n

This role will assist with call volume, escalated calls, and mentoring fellow team members and trainees.  As a member of the Benefits call center team, you will help people every day by taking calls, actively listening, while discussing employee benefits.  Calls can range from healthcare benefits, retirement benefits and survivor benefits. You will manage a steady volume of incoming calls from customers while navigating through multiple systems.

Our call center associates are members of a supportive team. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will help us create positive experiences for our customers and clients. Your punctuality and dependability are key to our clients’ success.

Requirements 

\n

We’re looking for people with a passion for customer service, natural empathy, and the determination to deliver a comprehensive resolution. To be successful in this role, you will have: 

\n\n Previous experience with the Verizon team\n Strong Verizon plan knowledge\n Knowledge of Health & Insurance\n Knowledge of Death Benefits\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n Team spirited\n Willing to assist with training\n Flexibility to adapt to change\n Strong organization skills\n Previous customer service and/or call center experience\n Great problem-solving skills\n Ability to effectively multi-task\n High school diploma, GED, or college degree\n\n

Responsibilities

\n\n Responds to client-specific inquiries, including telephone and web correspondence.\n Contacts participants to explain calculations and resolve issues.\n Identifies solutions to call trends, establishes appropriate agent training needs, and delivers the training.\n Provides feedback and coaching to agents regarding adherence to center metrics and established guidelines.\n Assists junior employees by answering questions or taking escalated calls with guidance.\n\n

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $36,480- $45,600.
