Senior Benefits Program Specialist
**DESCRIPTION** The Sr. Benefits Analyst is a key contributor to the Acosta Total Rewards team in leading efforts to design, develop, and implement benefit related programs and plans, resolves complex benefits-related concerns, and ensures compliance with Company and applicable U.S. and Canadian benefits related regulations and laws. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Essential Functions:** + Benchmark benefit design trends and recommend changes with associated financial and associate impacts. + Monitor benefit plan utilization, analyze trends, and prepare trend and financial reporting for various benefit programs including associate, plan financials for strategic benefits planning and evaluation for data driven decision making by senior leadership. + Liaise with the finance team in reviewing financial reports, ensuring correct financial accruals, and reporting. + Collaborate with vendor partners, brokers, HR Operations, corporate communications, and HR Business Partners to ensure seamless onboarding of benefit programs/plans, benefit deductions, integrations, policies or programs. + Lead and implement benefit communication plans, prepare/maintain Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and other plan documents. + Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other regulations. + Identify, evaluate, measure, and respond to complex associate concerns. + Manage timeline expectations within and across teams and deliver on our responsibilities accordingly. + Develop and generate reports and analysis from single or multiple systems to support the Company’s strategic planning and budgeting efforts. + Evaluate effectiveness of benefits programs including wellbeing initiatives to attract and retain top talent. + Support merger and acquisition activities for any due diligence and/or integration activities. + Meeting the physical requirements – listed below. + Other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education Requirements:** + Bachelor’s Degree **Work Experience Requirements:** + 7 years of experience in benefits design and analysis + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and human resources information systems **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:** + Highly proficient level of data analysis knowledge which includes working knowledge of advanced excel + Ability to effectively analyze and synthesize large amounts of complex data into relevant insights + Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills + Knowledge of HR systems and processes + Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams + Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other benefit related regulations and laws + Experience in creating Benefit PowerPoint presentations **Physical Requirements:** + Seeing + Listening **Personal Skills Requirements:** + Analysis/Comprehension + Judgment/Decision Making + Strong Communication Skills + Time Management \#DiscoverYourPath **ABOUT US** Acosta Group is a collective uniting the most trusted retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies—Acosta, ActionLink, CORE Foodservice, CROSSMARK, Mosaic, Premium Retail Services, and Product Connections.
