The ideal candidate has comprehensive knowledge in the US and Canada employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plans. Skilled in resolving claims issues, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing employee understanding through effective communication and educational initiatives. Proven ability to improve benefits programs to meet organizational and employee needs, backed by strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:


Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Manages the daily operations of health and insurance benefits programs, ensuring efficient service delivery and optimal performance.Contributes to the creation of educational materials and the delivery of benefits presentations to enhance employee understanding and utilization of company healthcare and insurance offerings.Supports key annual benefits processes, such as Open Enrollment, compliance reporting, and program evaluation.Leads benefits training sessions and new hire orientations to familiarize employees with available benefits.Assist our Weir Business Services team on successfully managing the administration of Leaves of Absence, FMLA, STD, LTD, Worker's Compensation, and third-party claims efficiently.Oversees the administration of health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans, as well as Flexible Spending Accounts and COBRA.Serves as the liaison with the 401(k)-plan administrator, handling tasks related to SPDs, Non-Discrimination Testing, Form 5500, Loans & Withdrawals, Forfeiture Accounts, fee disclosure statements, enrollments, and quarterly adjustments.


Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Over 5 years of experience in benefits administration.In-depth expertise in employee benefits regulations and industry best practices.Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with vendors, employees, and senior leadership.Exceptional written and verbal communication, with proven presentation skills.Familiarity with provincial and multi-state leave benefits and compliance requirements.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related field.Familiarity with provincial and multi-state leave benefits and compliance requirements.US and Canada ADP Workforce Now benefit and reporting knowledge
