The Senior BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud base business intelligence solutions utilizing Azure. Incumbent works closely with internal stakeholders including business analysts and developers to understand requirements and develop and support BI solutions. This role utilizes Microsoft BI tools and technologies to deliver accurate and insightful data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to drive strategic decision-making.

Essential Functions

Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of scalable BI solutions using Azure technologies including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Analysis ServicesDesign, develop, and enhance data models, data warehouses, SQL queries, and ETL processes ensuring reliability, performance, and integrity across systems that will drive the business forwardCollaborate with business analysts and development teams and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide guidance on how data can be used to achieve business objectivesTranslate high-level business questions into data-driven insights and reporting strategies by creating and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract and transform data from various sources fostering best practicesDesign and develop interactive dashboards utilizing Power BI drill down data exploration for strategic insights and performance optimizationImplement and oversee data security measures and ensure compliance with data governance policies including data lineage, cataloging, and stewardship frameworksComply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent education and/or experience5 years as a BI Developer or similar role utilizing Microsoft BI technologies

Preferred Requirements

Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, or Azure Synapse Analytics.Experience with agile development methodologiesExperience with mentoring and coaching other team members

Skills and Abilities

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $94,100.00 - $117,700.00
