About Your Role

Our Above Water Systems team provides engineering & maintenance services to Royal Australian Navy vessels and commercial ships. We’re proud to bolster Australia’s sovereign capability through operational support to our defence partners. Sonder – Wellbeing & Support Partner

Based at Woolloomooloo, your role purpose will be to:

Lead and manage bids and projects in line with Thales guidelines and business objectives.

Execute, monitor and control the project (predominantly in engineering) with adherence to gate reviews, schedule & budget

Partnering closely with our customers and ensuring that products and services delivered exceed expectations.

Playing a central role in business strategy and effectively managing risk

Mentoring other team members and contributing to future capability across Thales Australia

About You

Degree in business, engineering, project management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of senior-level bid and project management experience.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Exceptional stakeholder and customer relationship management skills.

Proficiency in Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project financials.

Strong written communication and negotiation skills.
