About Your Role

Our Above Water Systems team provides engineering & maintenance services to Royal Australian Navy vessels and commercial ships. We’re proud to bolster Australia’s sovereign capability through operational support to our defence partners. Based at Woolloomooloo, your role purpose will be to:

Lead and manage bids and projects in line with Thales guidelines and business objectives.

Execute, monitor and control the project (predominantly in engineering) with adherence to gate reviews, schedule & budget

Partnering closely with our customers and ensuring that products and services delivered exceed expectations.

Playing a central role in business strategy and effectively managing risk

Mentoring other team members and contributing to future capability across Thales Australia

About You

Degree in business, engineering, project management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of senior-level bid and project management experience.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Exceptional stakeholder and customer relationship management skills.

Proficiency in Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project financials.

Strong written communication and negotiation skills.
