Job Description

AECOM has a position available for a Senior BIM Manager to join our Buildings + Places (B+P) team in Orlando, FL. In this role the selected person will provide overall direction of BIM activities in assigned areas including BIM implementation, integration, development, maintenance, potential liabilities, and/or concerns.

The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Ensure compliance with BIM standards and contractual obligations, supporting delivery teams.Support team development and raise the BIM profile across the organization.Evaluate, utilize, and roll out to staff software plugins and apps to increase efficiencies and automation of software tasks. Manage onboarding, training, and digital solution mobilization, ensuring efficient information delivery.Oversee task teams, monitor progress, and address any delays promptly.Compile lessons learned and identify training needs for information management.Act as an intermediary between stakeholders for efficient project execution.Drive Information Execution Plans and conduct supply chain assessments.Provide strategic IM direction, produce reports, and lead digital implementation.Understand and implement local and international BIM standards and regulations.Maintain quality assurance processes for BIM deliverables.Commit to continuous improvement and stay updated with the latest digital technologies and practices.Engage in R&D to enhance BIM processes and tools.Experience in using PowerBI would be beneficial to allow the utilization of dashboards (PowerBI) to convey key project information to stakeholder.Knowledge of managing BIM throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design to construction and handover.Create and manage standard operating procedures and processes.Authorize access to appropriate data and coordinates efforts with personnel in other departments, project managers, outside design firms, and client representatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of recent, relevant leadership experienceSoftware experience must include the following: AutoDesk Revit, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Bluebeam, LiDAR and Point CloudsPrevious experience managing BIM throughout an entire project lifecycle, from design to construction and handover.

Preferred Requirements

Experience using PowerBI to allow the utilization of dashboards (PowerBI) to convey key project information to stakeholder.Software experience that would be helpful includes the following: Revizto, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Lumion, Dynamo, Grasshopper, and/or RhinoCOBie Standards experience is helpful
