Position Summary\n
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Senior Biomedical Researcher to support our Aberdeen Research Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.\n
Primary Duties and Responsibilities\n\nScientists specializing in directed energy bio-effects or neuropharmacology, surgical techniques, and animal testing.\nSupport scientific efforts by participating in the planning, execution, and analysis of experiments; oversee the biological laboratory facilities.\nConduct animal surgeries and experiments to support the Futuristic Concepts Team.\nMaintain laboratory equipment\/supplies.\nSchedule and execute experimental protocols.\nEnsure the quality of procedures and data.\nEnsure compliance with all regulatory agencies.\nPrepare and present presentations and written documents summarizing efforts\n\n
Minimum Qualifications of Senior Biomedical Researcher
Bachelor's Degree in Biology or related field related field and 2+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.\n\nKnowledge of directed energy biological effects\nKnowledge of pharmacology and neuroscience as applied to medical chemical defense research\nExperience managing a biological laboratory\nExperience scheduling and executing animal use protocols\nUnderstanding of basic molecular techniques\nExperience in immunohistochemistry\n\n
