Description Sr. Brand Manager - Chicago Hybrid (3 days onsite are required / days are TBD) Job Title: Sr. Brand Manager Work Location: (Remote, City & State, or both for Hybrid) Chicago (Aon Building) Scheduled Days of the Week & Hours: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm (3 days onsite are required / days are TBD) End Date: 4-6 Months (potential to extend) No Full-Time Opportunity Interview Process: (individual or panel, one or multiple)? One interview / possibly a 2nd Must Haves: -Experience with Commodity-Driven Portfolios: Preferred experience in managing coffee portfolios, or alternatively, experience with other commodity-driven categories such as cheese, dairy, cocoa beans, or meats. -CPG Experience: Proven track record in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is essential. -Stakeholder Leadership and Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage across various stakeholders effectively. Sr. Brand Manager – NA Coffee Reporting into the Head of Marketing and Strategy, NA Coffee, the Sr. Brand Manager, NA Maxwell House will formulate the long-term strategy for the brand and help implement the marketing plans. This role defines the portfolio, innovation, pricing, trade, advertising, and promotion strategies. With oversight of the P&L, you’re accountable for delivering profit, volume, and market share objectives. You will be responsible for building consumer and customer demand for the assigned business and implementing your marketing initiatives through leading the cross-functional team. This includes leading innovation to improve quality, make packaging updates, cost reductions, and new item launches. Additionally, you will drive strong collaboration with the central insights and communications team to bring compelling campaigns to market. Brand Managers are leaders of our brands and businesses: You unearth opportunities to drive impact and turn ideas into actions. Key Responsibilities: Define brand vision, portfolio strategy, and 1-3 year plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners. Identify consumer, category, competition, and channel insights to uncover new growth opportunities. Develop innovation/renovation/PPA/productivity 3-year strategy and pipeline. Collaborate with commercialization teams including project management, R&D, sensory, supply chain, procurement, and growth finance to prioritize resources and sequence of launches. Own the brand price/promo strategy in partnership with the revenue growth management team. Partner with the sales strategy and category insights teams on planning commercial excellence fundamentals including channel strategy, distribution, assortment, pricing/promotions, and merchandising. Collaborate with comms, omni, and media teams to test and learn campaigns and optimize results. Own the P&L for the respective business with accountability for delivering profit, volume, and market share objectives. Coaching and development of one direct report. Qualifications: 5+ years experience in progressive CPG brand management roles. Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to prioritize initiatives and simplify complexity. Proven people and team leadership skills with a strong drive for results. Operates with agility and solid problem-solving ability. Proven analytical capabilities in interpreting and driving action from data. Ability to influence management, lead cross-functional teams, handle simultaneous projects, and work through others. Consumer-obsessed with the ability to identify market trends and key insights. Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills. Excellent organization and project management skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
