**The Opportunity**
For our **Abbott Diabetes Care Division** we are looking for a **Senior Brand Manager** to join our great Marketing team in Greece. The position will report directly to Marketing and Customer Service Manager Greece, Diabetes Care.
**Main purpose of the job:**
Develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics for one or more of the organization's most strategically significant products/services in order to drive accelerated growth and achieve commercial targets.
**What You'll do:**
+ Develop and implement marketing plans for new and existing products driving execution with excellence and training the sales force.
+ Monitor, analyze, and evaluate local and international market trends, product performance, customer behavior and market activity to identify market opportunities for the product/service.
+ Liaise with other areas of the organization (Commercial, Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Analytics, IT and other Key Functions) to implement activities.
+ Adapt global toolkits to suit Greek requirements and build on them to deliver campaigns for maximum impact on results.
+ Develop and deliver sales/communication tools/programs and monitor execution through specific field visit plan.
+ Conduct market research, oversee product development and design, launch new products, oversee advertising campaigns, and monitor performance to effectively market assigned products/services.
+ Liaise with advertising and promotions specialists to design campaigns and collateral for the product/service that are effective and appropriate for the target audience.
+ Travel in the field and work with customers to gain market knowledge, and to coordinate initiatives.
+ Track and share performance trends, insights, and recommendations for marketing campaigns.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant Abbott policies and procedures.
**Required qualifications & background:**
+ University degree in life sciences, marketing, business administration or relevant.
+ MSc in Marketing or MBA would be considered as a strong asset.
+ Proven track record in marketing functions is a must (Brand Manager, Product Manager or similar) – preferably 5 or more years of experience.
+ Proven experience in digital marketing with strong understanding of digital landscape.
+ Experience in multinational, corporate environment, preferably in medical or healthcare industry.
+ Experience in sales positions within medical industry will be a strong asset.
+ Commercial awareness: understanding product commercialization process including legislation associated (understanding industry rules and regulations).
+ Knowledge of diabetes market is a plus.
+ Highly communicative team player, analytical, organized and results-oriented.
+ Ability to act proactively with an innovative & problem solving mindset.
+ Adaptable to change in internal or external environment.
+ Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
+ Native Greek.
+ Strong PC Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point).
+ Strong analytical skills, organizational and planning competence, with ability to meet deadlines.
+ Ability to travel (approx. 20% of total working time).
+ Driving license.
