About the job
We are looking for a Sr. Brand Strategist to lead all our brand programs and brand management. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to understand brand needs, as well as discover brand and audience insights to create brand strategies that help build the Twilio brand. You will liaise with the broader Brand+Creative team to inform future brand assets, guidelines, and projects.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
+ Help establish our brand platform including brand purpose, promise, and positioning
+ Lead on brand projects including brand architecture and attributes to guide all our campaigns and content creation
+ Deliver brand strategies that improve brand perception
+ Define the assets needed for brand engagement, enablement and unification and create a brand measurement plan
+ Partner with Marketing stakeholders on the development of annual roadmaps for brand management, and determine where and how Brand team resources will support priorities identified in the roadmaps.
+ Manage all brand communications. Own all brand comms channels and comms roadmaps, and build out / deliver on global brand announcements.
+ Manage agency review process with Procurement to minimize agency sprawl and tighten controls for consistency
+ Define regional brand management practices and establish brand review process for global consistency
+ Lead brand education and training for employees, agencies and partners

Required:
+ 8+ years working as a brand strategist or brand manager in a large B2B or tech brand
+ Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail
+ Self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
+ Proven experience building and delivering on integrated brand strategies and programs and managing brand tools, processes, and assets
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills. Works well with cross-functional teams and executives
+ Strong proficiency in brand research methods and brand tracking survey methods.
Desired:
+ Experience working on cross-department brand awareness and strategic campaigns
Location
This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in California, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Washington.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 30% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York,Washington and Washington D.C. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
+ Based in Colorado or Washington D.C.: $123,520 - $154,400.
+ Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay Area): $130,720 - $163,400.
+ Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California: $145,280 - $181,600.
+ This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
