Senior Broadcast Service Associate

Overview Job Purpose Senior Broadcast Service Associate will work out of the NYSE Broadcast Control Rooms as a key member of the NYSE Broadcast Service team supporting the day-to-day operations of the Exchange including covering the highly visible NYSE Opening and Closing Bells, NYSE TV, as well as live and taped media interviews from around the world. The individual will also be responsible for deadline oriented (quick turnaround) editing for short pieces posted on internal and external NYSE websites. The individual will be tasked with operating cameras at live events or operating cameras in an ENG style, operating equipment to include video switchers and audio consoles. They will also be responsible for placing microphones and IFB on interviewees. Responsibilities To operate studio and remote equipment including cameras, master control switchers and associated equipment, digital records and recorders, video servers, related broadcast automation software, audio mixers, and other equipment and systems. Knowledge and Experience · Knowledge/ experience. Work in a live control room environment Understanding of Vinten robotic controllers Understanding and operation of Ross Video Switchers Understanding how to execute live broadcasts An understanding of audio principles Proficiency in audio recording Daily operation of content management system Video editing of both long and short form videos using Adobe products Understanding of ENG, Live handheld camera operation, and the setup and operation of EFP cameras, to include Sony and Canon Collaborate with various internal NYSE departments Ability to multi-task Experience supporting high profile executives, officials, and clients · Work skills/ general skills. Team-oriented Must be able to work a flexible schedule occasionally, including early morning prior to 8am as well as evenings after 5pm Acute attention to detail Good interpersonal communication skills Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop experience a must Audio consoles Ross Video Switchers Ross Expression Studer Audio console · Qualifications/ education. BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in broadcast environment with proven knowledge of production equipment and production technique, computer-based production as well as knowledge of video Schedule This role is on-site in our Wall Street, New York office. #LI-BM1 New York Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 70,000 - 90,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
