AtkinsRéalis are looking to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor into our Building Design practice – based from our Manchester office.
This role has excellent prospects for a Building Surveyor who has a strong ambition to progress and enjoys working collaboratively within a vibrant team and has experience in managing client relationships and specific interest / experience of project management.
As a Senior Building Surveyor you will be responsible for delivery of multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to construction, on our expanding portfolio of challenging projects across our Market Sectors.
As well as technical competence, we are looking for individuals who possess great communication, strong commercial awareness and experience, and who will provide a first-class service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
Working across a number of projects in different sectors, providing a range of Building Surveying duties.Managing the client relationship and service delivery on a project by project basis.Building pathology.Design and specification of projects including Net Zero schemes.Project management.Pre and post contract duties for projects.Due Diligence Surveys, Condition surveys.Contract administration.Project management.The use and application of standard forms of building contracts, ideally both JCT and NEC.Designer level ability as defined by the CDM Regulations.Requirements:
BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited degree.Full member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.Ability to demonstrate good all-round surveying experience.Good team working skills and ability to communicate well at all levels.Prepared to travel within the region, and into other regions where required.Keeping abreast of industry issues and developments in best practice.To liaise with senior colleagues to help build a profitable service and positive, high performing team environment.Strong IT skills, Word and Excel as a minimum. Candidates should be able to produce, edit and format documents.Good ability with AutoCAD and experience of Revit would be an advantage.An awareness of BIM.Full understanding of Health and Safety requirement.Why work for AtkinsRéalis?
