The Sales Operations Technology and Enablement team operates at the intersection of technology and business, delivering impactful solutions that drive sales success. This position is based in our corporate office in Parsippany, NJ and will be on a hybrid 3:2 in office schedule.
Job Summary
The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder groups, capture requirements, design strategic processes, produce training and change management materials, and provide ongoing support for applications within the portfolio. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our sales systems, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to a high-performing team dedicated to innovation and excellence.
Essential Duties
Participate in the end-to-end delivery of projects for the Sales Operations Technology team, working collaboratively with cross-functional teamsProvide product, application, and process support, end-user support, and training developmentSupport multiple complex business processes, support the functional leader, and develop subject matter expertise across the portfolio of systemsIdentify functionality gaps and continuous improvement opportunities and draft appropriate action plans, user stories, and other applicable documentationResponsible for performing detailed analysis and documenting needs and systems impacts to ensure the successful delivery and support of various GAF applicationsResponsible for completing assigned analyst duties with the ability to work on two or more projects simultaneously – of varying size and complexity (small, medium, or large) in addition to capturing and documenting analysis information for minor requestsServe as advisor to business stakeholders, providing insights into system functionality and strategic recommendationsPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are scalable, user-friendly, fit for purpose, and aligned with business requirements and goalsBe the Voice of the Customer: Provide an understanding of the end-user and client experience to the development and cross-functional teams when participating in the delivery of projects and programs within the Sales Operations Technology teamPerform (internal or external) customer research (in partnership with Stakeholders) by means of including surveys, product analytics, market research, interviews, online forums, or other cost-effective means of gaining insight into the "voice of the customer." Effectively utilize insights gained in the delivery of solutionsResponsible for the creation and maintenance of business process models, business requirements, use cases, and test casesFacilitating and leading user story elicitation/design sessions leveraging multiple methods, e.g. Interviews, workshops, surveys, site visitsRefinement of Features and User StoriesLeverage experience to recommend industry standards and best practice solutionsExceeds in designing and maintaining training materials and change management activities as part of delivering projects and programs for the Sales Operations Technology teamShare best practices and industry trends to elevate the performance of the project and Sales Operations Technology teams
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree required, Sales Operations, Sales Management, Operations, or Information Systems is a plus.5-10 years experience in systems analysis and design with a proven record of successful project implementations.Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification preferred.Product Owner or Scrum Master certification is a plus.Previous Sales Operation or Sales experience.Previous Manufacturing experience is a plus.Previous Industry experience is a plus.Experience in Agile/Scrum or waterfall methodologies, including: eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, managing the Product Backlog, leading daily Stand-Ups, and hosting Sprint Reviews.Developing knowledge of emerging technologies.Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Trello.Expertise in Agile/Scrum or waterfall methodologies, including backlog management and sprint facilitation.Expertise in Salesforce and other systems; certifications are a strong plus.Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex problems into actionable insights.Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills; be diverse; and be detailed-oriented.A unique mix of skills, including business acumen, and strong time management.The Individual must also be able to work effectively with a wide range of teamsHighly organized.Enthusiastic and self-motivated.Demonstrates ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships across the business.A natural problem solver with a strong aptitude to learn.Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.Adaptable to accommodate changing business requirements and proactively communicate.Strong meeting facilitation skills.Ability to build strong working relationships.
