The Salesforce Sr. Business Analyst is responsible supporting the Salesforce Product Owner in the collection and facilitation of understanding business requirements for the Salesforce application and Salesforce integrated solutions. The Sr. Business Analyst will work as an extension of the Product Owner to meet with business stakeholders to understand the business needs, identify the benefits and value to the business, and document the business requirements. The Sr. Business Analyst will closely collaborate with the Product Owner, Salesforce IT, and the Salesforce Development Team and participate in grooming sessions to help estimate level of effort to complete Salesforce enhancements.Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate discussions, capture and analyze business requirements through meeting senior management, practice leaders and other stakeholders.Participate in identifying opportunities for continuous team and process improvement.Work directly with the Salesforce Product Owner and Salesforce IT teams to refine requirements and estimate effort to implement.Act as voice of the end-user maintaining a deep understanding of customer feedback ensuring outstanding solutions are delivered.In conjunction with the Salesforce Product Owner and Development team, lead and manage the successful delivery of enhancements as defined in sprint and release planning and meeting or exceeding defined success criteria.Assist User Adoption Lead with creating/updating Salesforce Release Notes, Job Aids and Training Materials.Assist User Adoption Lead with training Salesforce Support team on upcoming release items.Assist Salesforce Product Owner with preparing meeting materials (Salesforce COE, Sprint Reviews, Salesforce Focus Group, etc.)Assist with updating the Salesforce Data DictionaryFoster an innovative, inclusive and diverse team environment, promoting positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and self-organization.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that encourages productive interactions with business stakeholders, co-workers and supervisors.Education/Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in a related fieldTechnical writing skills required1-5 year’s experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud (navigation/object relationships/page layouts)5 or more years of Business Analyst/Product and/or Scrum Management and/or business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Have basic knowledge of DevOps or aptitude for learning new technologyDemonstrated expertise creating and maintaining User StoriesStrong customer focus and understanding of Salesforce CRMDemonstrated ability to balance the delivery of projects against the realities of limited resources using problem solving, project management and creative resourcefulnessDemonstrated ability to facilitate verbal and written communications across all levels of an organization in both an individual and group settingExhibits expert presence being comfortable delivering and defending analyses and recommendations to management and stakeholders.Deals well with ambiguity and intensity and thrives in a fast-paced environment driven by senior leadership requests and evolving needsRequirements/Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
Demonstrated familiarity with Smartsheet, LucidChart, Salesforce (certification not required) and DevOps (or other agile software delivery application)Advanced skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Smartsheet, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.Collaboration skills including the ability to engage with IT, Sales, and Marketing employees at all levels in order gather business needsProcess improvement skills including the ability to analyze business activity and requirements to identify opportunities, enhancements, and automation effortsCertificates and Licenses:
