We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Planning & Finance Ops team focusing on integrating data and providing insights for the Telstra International business operations team, commercial operations team, and sales teams.
You will use your analytical skills and experience to contribute to specialist analysis which leverage a variety of analytical tools to draw critical insights which drive financial and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, validate and analyse data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights, help identify areas of opportunity and make recommendations for consideration to enable effective decision making.Conduct modelling, forecasting and option/scenario analysis to support business decisions for designated areaVisualise data analytics to assist business stakeholders to understand the insights and be able to action on it.Actively contribute to the delivery of short-term priorities/projects by conducting data mining and business analysis including sales performance, revenue & GCM performance, churn, customer segmentation, product usage etc to assist in formulating business strategiesLeverage tried and tested problem solving and analytical techniques such as root cause assessment and gap analysis to understand pain points and propose solutions in particular in data modelling and automation spaceAbout You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldWith at least 8 years’ experience in Sales Operations, Finance or business analysis in B2B firms, preferably in Telco or Technology companiesWith strong business intelligence reporting and trend analysis experience; can understand business priority, analyse data to evaluate business performance and be able to challenge status quosRelevant background in Dashboard Reporting, Analytics and Visualization with great knowledge in Microsoft excel, Alteryx, Power BI, TableauProject management skills including Microsoft PowerPoint with capabilities to prepare executive PresentationsStrong senior stakeholder management skills – can articulate data insights and proposes recommendations to senior stakeholders and executivesIf you are looking to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!
