Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders to develop, implement, and facilitate successful onboarding of digital solutions and the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. Each day, you will provide consultative assistance in supporting the use of products with the goal to improve productivity and efficiency. You will also showcase your expertise by helping the customers to achieve their solution goals and objectives by leveraging domain expertise and knowledge on ABB's digital solutions.The work model for the role is: #LI Onsite, #LI HybridThis role is contributing to the ABB Business in Bangalore. We are looking for an experienced and driven senior business analyst to join our corporate advanced an-alytics team who’ll provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders across multi-ple business areas. You will work on complex and high-impact projects that leverage data and analytics to drive business performance and innovation.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tLead the end-to-end delivery of analytics solutions, from problem definition and data explora-tion to model development and presentation of results. •\tPartner with senior leaders and subject matter experts to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities, and translate them into actionable analytics questions and hy-potheses. •\tWork with data scientists and experts to apply advanced analytical techniques, such as statisti-cal modeling, machine learning, optimization, simulation etc., to generate insights and recom-mendations that address business needs and add value. •\tCommunicate complex analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling way to diverse audiences, using data visualization, storytelling, and business acumen. •\tManage demand, delivery and value creation and build strategic long-term plans for analytics within the domain/area you partner with. •\tMentor and coach junior business analysts and data scientists and foster a culture of collabora-tion and learning within the team.

Qualifications for the role

\tMBA or Bachelor's/master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, economics or finance. \t5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, data science, or consulting, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering or related industry. \tFamiliarity in one or more programming languages, such as Python, R and knowledge in one or more data platforms and tools, such as AWS, Azure, Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik. \tStrong analytical mindset and knowledge of various analytical techniques, such as regression, classification, clustering, time series, optimization, simulation, generative AI, etc., and ability to apply them to real-world problems. \tExcellent communication and demonstrated leadership skills. \tDeep knowledge and expertise in one or more functional areas, such as finance, operations, sales and account management, supply chain etc. is desirable. \tPrior experience working in a global and multicultural setting is desirable.
