Position Description:

CGI is looking for Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Gathering requirements for the new application and creating documentation to support developers for each User Story
• Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
• Creating functional specifications for solutions
• Coordinating, writing and testing of solutions
• Assessing quality of enhancements
• Ensure the functional tests of the subjects under its responsibilities
• Supporting business transition and helping to establish change
• Working in direct collaboration with Business, Product Owner and Developers
• Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• For Senior BA, more than 11 years of professional experience as a BA is expected
• For Experienced BA, more than 6 years of professional experience as a BA is expected
• Experienced in Agile frameworks and tools (Jira, Octane, etc.)
• Analytical and detail-oriented profile
• Experienced in Application migration contexts
• Critical thinking and decision making
• Anticipating problems and proposing solutions
• Producing rich & clear documentation
• Working autonomously and prioritizing under tight timeframes
• Knowledge in financial services industry and banking business is a plus
• Experienced with Mainframe application environments is a plus
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• French speaking is a plus
