Insurity's next Senior Business Analyst

Our Senior BA will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements and/or functional specifications as needed, including the determination of system impact and software configuration.  

They will also participate with customers and internal functions as appropriate throughout the development, testing, and implementation processes. Research and evaluate alternative approaches and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions. They will also contribute to activities to improve quality and advance the overall analysis practice throughout the organization.  

A strong desire to develop technical and business knowledge relative to the implementation of insurance processing will be needed in this role. Knowledge of commercial line of business is a must, preferably commercial auto and or property and general liability. 

What our Senior Business Analyst Will DoPartner with customers to define business needs and elicit business requirementsProduce artifacts that accurately depict customer needs for product implementation such as business requirements and process flow diagramsFacilitate requirements and design discussionsProvide research and analysis in support of proposed solutionsParticipate in peer reviews/inspections for requirements, estimates, and specificationsAssist in the development of supporting documentationProvide support as needed to internal and external customersAssist in the facilitation of estimating discussions and coordinating work effortsAccurately estimate analyst work effortsProvide support for testing activities

Who We’re Looking For:  

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience8 years experience with Commercial Property/Casualty Insurance recommended5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst recommended Experience with SQL and other report writing tools to review and extract dataExtensive experience with software applications, including Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and VisioAbility to travel to customer locations: up to 30%

We have five Core Values at Insurity; one of which is to Act with Integrity.  Providing pay transparency helps you make the best decision for you.  We continuously analyze and update our salary ranges for our roles according to market trends to not only ensure our employees are paid fairly, but also help close gender, race, and disability wage gaps.  Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $70,000 to $137,000, commensurate with experience.
