Job Description & Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, SQL, SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services), Microsoft Power Platform, and data modeling, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities. This role requires a professional who can work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, model, and visualize data, helping drive strategic decisions for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.Perform data modeling and create data architectures to support reporting needs.Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from databases.Utilize SSAS for advanced data analysis, cube creation, and multidimensional data modeling.Leverage Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for business process automation and data integration.Analyze and interpret complex data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and insights to inform decision-making.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.Troubleshoot and solve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Power Platform, and data management best practices.
 

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Microsoft Power Platform, and data modeling.Proven experience in creating and managing Power BI dashboards and data visualizations.Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in writing complex queries and working with relational databases.Hands-on experience with SSAS, including building cubes and multidimensional data models.Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large and complex data sets.Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
