**Responsibilities**
+ Elicit and model business requirements; using appropriate analysis techniques, understand and describe the business needs at a level of detail that is usable by the stakeholders; ensure their structure articulates the required business dimensions (i.e. customer experience, business process, business rules, information and operations) ensuring clarity and understanding of the true business needs
+ Validate requirements against business objectives; ensure that the requirements or designs deliver business value and directly support the business objectives, project goals and benefits
+ Evaluate and support the definition of solution options; identify, explore and describe the solution options so the most appropriate decision can be made that achieves the business needs
+ Analyse potential value and recommend solution; through a clear understanding of the business opportunity and objectives, assess the value that can be generated from the solution options and where necessary provide a recommendation to the key stakeholders
+ Customer focus; determine all requirements, solution designs and business value assessments from a customer perspective
+ Manage business requirements; throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring they are appropriately baselined and owned; maintain alignment between the solution and the benefits and assess all impacts of requirement or design changes
+ Focus on quality; ensure all documentation and outputs are of a high quality and consistency, presented through defined templates, models and frameworks, and meet the needs of the intended audience
+ Transition and change; assist in the identification of the transition journey from current to target state, conducting change impact assessments supporting the change management activities/focus areas to enable successful adoption of the solutions.
+ Collaborative working; able to engage and work effectively with multi-cultural, multi-location teams, and work cross functionally with teams from other business areas ensuring their interests are understood and properly represented and any issues addressed; challenge and influence appropriately
+ Stakeholder management; maintain timely communications to project team and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle ensuring an unambiguous and common understanding of the requirements; proactively raise risks and issues, and ensure progress of deliverables is transparent
+ Understand the Operating Model and Architectures; using them to deliver the best business value for the project, working closely with the Lead Designer or allocated domain designer(s) where they exist
+ Project delivery support; assist in the preparation of project scope, goals and deliverables templates and support PMO in developing business cases with supporting documentation. Support the wider analyst and practitioner communities; proactively share experiences, lessons learnt and best practice

**What we are looking for**
+ University degree in any discipline
+ 5-10 years of solid business analyst experience, preferably with deep knowledge of Insurance Operations
+ Experience in project management or change management is an added advantage
+ Understanding of local business, key processes, and risks, with both a big picture view and on-the-ground knowledge
